Message from the Assistant Chief

Thank you for taking the time to visit our website.  We are Golden Gate Fire – a dedicated team of men and women who are honored to serve the 50-square-mile Golden Gate Fire Protection District; made up of approximately 1500 residents, three Jefferson County Open Space Parks, Golden Gate Canyon State Park, and miles of rural roads and trails, all enjoyed and cherished by our community. Our firefighters chose to donate their time to deliver the highest quality fire protection, emergency medical, technical rescue, hazardous materials, and other emergency response to this district, seeking to deliver a quality of service that is both timely and a level exceeding expectations.  It is my honor to lead this dedicated and skilled team, and if you are interested in joining, I encourage you to consider applying or partnering with us.
If you have any questions or are interested in our department further, please feel free to contact me at
Thank you, and stay safe.
Chris A. Enright, Assistant Fire Chief.
